Hardiplank Replacement
Replace rotted or damaged Hardiplank siding with new fiber cement boards.
Hardiplank siding holds up well in Spring's heat and humidity, but it doesn't last forever. We remove the old boards, inspect the framing underneath, and install new fiber cement panels. The work is straightforward but needs precision so water doesn't get behind the new siding and cause problems down the road.
Spring's weather cycles hit siding hard. Temperature swings and moisture from our humid climate can cause the boards to warp, crack, or rot at the edges. We replace damaged sections with matching Hardiplank, making sure the seams are sealed tight and the boards are nailed off properly so they stay put through another decade of Texas weather.
You get new siding that looks consistent with what's already on your house. The work is clean, the mess gets hauled away, and we leave you with solid boards that won't leak or deteriorate. Most jobs take a few days depending on how much area needs replacing.
About hardiplank replacement
How do I know if my Hardiplank needs to be replaced?
Look for soft spots, deep cracks, water stains, or boards that are warped or curling at the edges. If you can push a screwdriver into the board and it sinks in, that's rot and it needs to come out. We can do a free inspection to tell you what's salvageable.
Will the new boards match my existing siding?
We match the profile and color as closely as possible. Hardiplank comes in standard colors, so if your house is a common shade like gray or tan, we'll get it right. If it's a custom or faded color, we'll do our best and you'll only notice the difference up close.
How long does Hardiplank last?
Properly installed Hardiplank typically lasts 15 to 20 years in Spring's climate. It handles humidity better than wood, but it still needs good sealing and maintenance. We make sure the install is solid so you get the full lifespan out of it.
